  • 30% of soldiers that served in combat are dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

  • 22 veterans commit suicide daily.  The number is higher for Special Forces

  • 30% of all veterans have disabilities as a result of their service.

  • 1/3 of those veterans that need mental health care actually sought treatment.

  • Yes. Liberty Projects is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. You'll receive a receipt via email immediately after your donation that includes our Tax ID for your records.

  • Every dollar goes directly to veteran services. Your contribution funds equine therapy programs, Operation Stay female veteran retreats, VA benefits advocacy support, peer community programs, and facility costs. We maintain transparency in how donations are used and can provide detailed program breakdowns upon request.

  • Yes. We welcome volunteers who want to support our mission. Opportunities include administrative support, event assistance, veteran outreach, and program facilitation. Veterans who have completed our programs often return as volunteer mentors and assistant instructors. Contact us to learn about current volunteer opportunities.

  • Yes. We accept donations of equipment, supplies, and services that directly support our programs. This includes horse tack and equipment, facility materials, professional services, and program supplies. Please contact us to discuss specific in-kind contributions and coordinate delivery or pickup.

  • Absolutely. Memorial and tribute donations are a meaningful way to honor veterans and loved ones. During the donation process, you can indicate if your gift is in memory or in honor of someone, and we can send acknowledgment to the family if you provide their contact information.
